Isteri aku kembali hamil. Rutin ke Klinik diteruskan sepertimana kehamilan pertama. Cuma untuk kali ini, lebih banyak pengharapan agar isteri aku tidak lagi perlu dibedah.
Sebagai seorang suami, memang tak dinafikan perasaan 'kasihan' terhadap pengorbanan isteri tu mesti ada. Bukan sekadar 'kasihan', malah terharu, terkesan, dan berbagai-bagai lagi 'ter' akan bertapak dan terus menapak dalam sanubari lebih-lebih lagi setiap kali melihat parut melintang ditubuh isteri.
Tambah pulak bila isteri aku kongsikan perasaan 'fobia' dia waktu dibedah tu. Tanpa ada aku pulak disisi. Owh..aku bukan suami yang kejam sangat. Tapi sebab sewaktu isteri aku berada di dalam dewan bersalin, aku terpaksa menjaga dan menemani aku pertama ketika itu.
Di awal kehamilan, sepanjang rutin ke Klinik untuk pemeriksaan kerap kali juga kami 'dimomokkan' dengan cara kelahiran untuk kali kedua ni juga pasti dengan jalan pembedahan.
Kononnya ada pepatah khas untuk ibu-ibu hamil ni, "sekali dibedah, pasti akan dibedah selamanya".
Pada aku, itu semua perancangan manusia je. Difikirkan secara teorinya, alang-alang dah ada 'jalan senang', buat apa nak ikut jalan susah. Tapi bukan ke semua tu di atas ketentuan dari ALLAH.
Tu belum lagi 'dimomokkan' dengan 'kisah-kisah seram'. Semuanya nak ceritakan tentang yang negatif.
"Oh..macam ni bahaya puan, risiko rahim pecah bla bla bla..."
"Ni kalau ikut pengalaman bedah terdahulu memang untuk lepas ni kena bedah jugak"
"Kita takut membahayakan puan dan bayi dalam kandungan kalau tak bedah jugak"
Tak pernah sekali pun ada yang memberikan kata-kata positif mahupun fakta-fakta positif untuk kami menghadapi kelahiran anak kedua ni.
Kalau ikutkan, pada tahun 2012 ni dah maju. Tapi cuma kami je yang belum mencapai kemajuan. Maksud aku, kami ni keluarga biasa-biasa je. Masa ni belum cukup mampu nak ada capaian internet di rumah. Teknologi telefon pun hanya mampu MMS je paling canggih.
Disebabkan itu, segala info dan pengetahuan amat terhad. Gigih aku beli majalah-majalah berkaitan keibubapaan. Namun jarang sekali nak jumpa kisah berkenaan VBAC ni. (atau aku yang silap pilih bacaan)
Sehinggalah diakhir kehamilan isteri aku, kami hanya mampu berdoa dan menyerah diri kepada takdir ALLAH dalam penentuan cara kelahiran anak kedua kami waktu tu.
Macam yang aku katakan tadi, disebabkan kekurangan pengalaman dan pengetahuan, kami akur apabila isteri aku diarahkan untuk 'check-in' wad bersalin.
